I don’t know what’s up with this year’s F/W trends, but I love a major part of them and I want to buy them all! But hey – who wants to spend a fortune on items that will probably be not that in during the following seasons? We gotta save our $$$ for the classics, right? So here are my 5 suggestions that are auditioning for a main role in your autumn/winter wardrobe + direct links to stores you all know and hopefully have where you live. Happy scrolling!

CHECK me out!
Balenciaga, Versace, Loewe
Plaid is a classic without doubt. But there are so many types of plaid this season. From houndstooth to colourful plaid on plaid (Versace) – you have the opportunity to be brave and speak loudly without saying a word!
2. Take me to the WILD side!
Max Mara, Givenchy, Kenzo
Leopard print (as well as any other animal pattern) is not always seen as a fashion item with a positive sign in front of it. It can look cheap if not styled well and if not put on the right fabric. There are so many great examples on the runway, however! Take a look at Max Mara, Givency or Kenzo. Wow, right?
3. Make a STATEMENT
Burberry, Fendi, Kenzo
If you are a fan of slogan tops like myself, here is how you can still wear that trend in the new season. As you can see above, there is more than a wide variety of ways to style these sweatshirts. From a simple pair of vintage Levi’s to a, why not, tulle see-through dress (Burberry).
4. Leather
Marc Jacobs, YSL, Kenzo
80s’ comeback on the catwalk is big! And yet – it’s classic rock-n-roll! You can go all in and wear a head-to-toe leather look or add a leather pant or a skirt (styling it is as easy as styling denim)!
5. Ugly is the new fancy!
Burberry, Balenciaga
Ah! As cheesy as it sounds, you either love this or you hate this trend. Dad sneakers are definitely a statement but are SO comforable to wear (I have the white Zara pair shown below)! And now you can freely style them with literally everything. I seriously cannot think of something which doesn’t go with these! Even if you decide to splurge on the Balenciagas or the Louis Vuittons – they are cheaper than the typical pair of luxury shoes. That’s why they are so popular! Need I say more?
