Three Black & White Shirts
In my previous post I talked about probably the most opposite tone in the color spectrum – red. Black, white and red, however, have one thing in common – they are a big trend this season. The Bulgarian designer Mina Goleva has created pieces to satisfy both the girly girl’s taste as well as her more tomboyish friend. It all depends on how you style the pieces! Here’s how I managed to do so.

How to Style Red
Red is the ultimate inspiration for designers this season. As I always say, our life immediately reflects onto fashion. Because of the terrible blood scenes all over the world – violence, war – red is an obvious way to express empathy. It is also the color of passion and corageousness, a way to confidently express your personality. It can be quite romantic and dreamy but can also be grungy and more masculine. It’s up to you!

How to Style Emboidery
Embroidery, embroidery, embroidery! It’s everywhere! My explanation why is probably because you can make a statement without really making a statement while wearing them! What I mean by that is that you can still remain near your comfort style zone while showing the world a little bit of a personal twist to a basic item. If you haven’t seen my previous post about this trend on the runway, make sure you do so here. Here is the second part of it where you may choose whether to go all out or keep it minimal. So I can only wish you happy styling!

Blue Gingham in the Countryside
Last week I was lucky enough to escape from the burning heat in Plovdiv and visit a lovely village to spend some quality time with my best friend – Dessy (who took all of these beautiful pictures) and her family. Since I don’t get to travel a lot recently, this visit helped me recharge and clear my mind from all the hustle & bustle in town. I advise you to go somewhere different from all of the places you go to every day – difference inspires people!

Chokers: The Ultimate Guide – Part 2: DIY
It’s been a while since I last posted a DIY on the blog. So happy I’m back with this very easy and creative one that any of you can make. As you know from the previous post, chokers have been worn since the French revolution and will send you to the next step of being chic. They elongate your neck and give off ‘fashion expert’ vibes. Be careful, however, in how tight they are on your neck. Not only is it dangerous, but also it doesn’t look flattering. So without further ado, take a look at the easy steps I’ve shared. What you’ll need: ribbon or any sort…

Paul Poiret
Welcome to the newest series on my blog: The Fashion Stories! Here I’m going to provide you with interesting and broader information about various designers, styles, subcultures, style icons, etc. My goal is to broaden your fashion knowledge. I’m starting with a not so well-known designer for some of you, but trust me – he is a legend! Paul Poiret is one of the first known people who create clothes, because until the 1900s names of authors of fashion aren’t so widely spread. Poiret made drastic but still important changes in women’s wardrobe thanks to which he becomes famous. Initially Poiret works for different designers as an assistant but eventually…

May Roses in Nessebar
Going back to one of my most favourite places on earth felt so good. I’m talking about the old town of Nessebar – a beautiful place with ancient history which gets prettier each year. Since it’s may all the roses have blossomed in gorgeous colours and I could not resist to take pictures. One day I know I will have a house with my own garden and a big range of flowers which I will take care of. Because plants are what make a home so welcoming and in harmony with nature.

2015 Denim Trends
This season’s denim trends are quite on the innovative side, but there are also classic choices that everyone would love – interesting patchwork designs (Tommy Hilfiger, Vanessa Bruno), new boyfriend, flare, slim fit and slashed jeans. Dolce & Gabbana’s beaded jeans are more than eye-catching and create a unique look and so do the stamped jeans as seen in Anna Sui and other runways. Long Jean skirts, wider legs and shorter hems definitely give out a more old-school vibe. The classic denim shirt is a little transformed either into a shirt dress or an oversized, sometimes distressed, top. Denim can also be seen as a material of accessories such as bags, hats and even shoes! Images: Pinterest,…

Bluish Spring
Hey and welcome back! I’m more than happy to finally have the chance to share an outfit with you since it’s been a while since my last fashion article! Today is Bulgaria’s Tsvetnitsa which is an equivalent to the catholic Palm Sunday. People named after flowers have the so called ‘name day’, which I celebrate today as well, though my name isn’t particularly a flower… I was with my friends at a pastry café and had a really nice time! As for my outfit, one of my newest obsessions are denim jackets, and this one in particular I purchased from H&M. My daisy print top is from a Turkish shop called adilisik…
