    Chanel’s Paris-Hamburg collection

MOSCOW, Russia – We have seen this collection before in December but this time the location is different.  The inspiration behind this fashion show is the River Elbe in Hamburg, Germany. So navy blue is nearly everywhere – having a few models dressed up in head-to-toe marine colors. Wool (with thigh-high leg warmers for her, sailor pants for him), baker boy hats, pin stripes. It’s not a Chanel show without tweed – this time in earth tones, woolen trousers (wide-legged, of course), 60s short skirts, turtle necks, layers of long necklaces and jewelled brooches, 50s collars, masculine suits on women and gorgeous eveningwear. So retro and so modern – I cannot get…

    Inspiration: The Pastel Trend

Come on! You can’t tell me you haven’t noticed the pastel tone theme being everywhere from your Instagram/Facebook feed to any fashion magazine you have flicked through in the past few months. I’m not being passive-agressive, it’s just all these shades… they make me want to leave the house ASAP and go buy some raspberry-flavoured ice cream (and probably go to Zara afterwards just to see if they have something new in these hues). What’s great about this trend is that you’re wearing colour but it’s not too vibrant – perfect for all of us who are always a bit cautious when it comes to experimenting with the color palette.…

    Spring’18 Fashion

The streets are hopefully about to be filled with all different styles and shades when the weather finally starts to feel like spring. From sandy neutrals to bright, impossible to ignore shades and romantic florals and pointed-toe shoes reminding us of the late Huber de Givenchy. Of course, I’ve taken only a tiny bit of this multifarious runway palette. Here are 3 looks inspired by last September’s catwalks (with the direct links to the online stores): Go neutral by theradiantcherie Kate Spade trench coat / Brunello Cucinelli slim fitted pants / Loafer h&m shoes, 40 BGN / Wandler brown purse / Skagen leather strap watch, 200 BGN / Hoop earrings,…

    Fall Trends: The Plaid Blazer

There is not a bigger must-have for your wardrobe this season. I’m not exaggerating at all. Plaid (glen plaid to be exact) is an absolute fashion classic becoming a trend this season. Fabrics like wool, tweed, velvet and denim are the main focus of magazines and bloggers. They can be so comfortable, easy to wear and style, as well as match anybody’s taste and be worn on various occasions. I picked the grey glen plaid as a centrepiece of today’s post just because it’s probably the most versatile piece. You can wear it with a slogan tee, high waisted jeans and sneakers, with a high neck sweater, sailor pants and…

    Fall Trends 2017: Space Age

This fall designers are taking us back to the 60s – the decade of space exploration and sparkling vivid imaginations about the future. This, of course, immediately reflected into fashion – Pierre Cardin created his ‘Space Age’ collection in 1964. This trend continued until the beginning of the 70s with Paco Rabanne’s clothes. There were shiny fabrics resembling metal. Artificial materials such as PVC, acryl and vinyl were invented. The A-silhouette, the miniskirts, the unisex style and the bright colours created a futuristic feel to that era. Today’s interpretation of the colorful 60s is a little different and more adaptable to our everyday wardrobe. We can see all sorts of…

How to Spice Up Your Everyday Outfit?

Everybody has… or at least everybody should have at least one white shirt in their closet. And for that reason we all need a twist of the basic version of it. Whether it’s the sleeves, the length, the colour, the fit, do something different and outstanding. Such pieces are definitely on the trendier side. But hey, that’s why affordable stores like H&M, Zara (where this particular shirt is from) exist, right? If you don’t like it anymore next season, you can buy another one and don’t feel guilty because you haven’t spent a lot of money at all. Invest in basics (comfortable pair of jeans, a nice sweater, a warm…

    How to Style Red

Red is the ultimate inspiration for designers this season. As I always say, our life immediately reflects onto fashion. Because of the terrible blood scenes all over the world – violence, war – red is an obvious way to express empathy. It is also the color of passion and corageousness, a way to confidently express your personality. It can be quite romantic and dreamy but can also be grungy and more masculine. It’s up to you! Червеното определено е вдъхновение за дизайнерите този сезон. Както винаги казвам, животът ни веднага се отразява на модата. Заради ужасните кръвопролития по целия свят – насилие, войни – червеният цвят е лесен начин да…

    How to Style Emboidery

Embroidery, embroidery, embroidery! It’s everywhere! My explanation why is probably because you can make a statement without really making a statement while wearing them! What I mean by that is that you can still remain near your comfort style zone while showing the world a little bit of a personal twist to a basic item. If you haven’t seen my previous post about this trend on the runway, make sure you do so here. Here is the second part of it where you may choose whether to go all out or keep it minimal. So I can only wish you happy styling! Бродерии, бродерии, бродерии! Навсякъде са! Защо? Обяснението ми…

    Embroidery: Runway & Street

Embroidery is that precise, slow and hard-work-requiring process which leads to even more fascinating results. It is much more than your grandma’s gobeling hanging on the wall. For many designers, fashion influencers or just regular people it is a work of art. In this post I have shown its variations – from dainty flowers with shiny stones on them to more street style, grungy looks made more feminine by adding an embroidered element. In two posts in a row I will provide you with inspiration for all-things embroidery – from the runway to how to incorporate it to your own closet. Бродерията е прецизен, бавен и изискващ много труд процес,…
